Business Development Manager, SocietyWorks
As Business Development Manager for SocietyWorks, Tracey focuses predominantly on WasteWorks and FixMyStreet Pro, showing clients how they can save money and improve the way citizens interact with them through high-quality digital tools.
SocietyWorks predominantly provides solutions for the local government sector, and Tracey brings valuable insights from a previous position with the West Midlands Combined Authority, working closely with councils: “This gave me a good understanding of how councils work and their processes — and my RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Improvement also gives me a strong understanding of how communities can be supported to improve quality of life, which links closely to how FixMyStreet helps councils build safer and fairer places through better access, reporting and action.”
Based in Warwickshire, Tracey enjoys walking, rebounding (think mini trampolining) and yoga. “I’m trying climbing with my son and hoping to camp more as well. I love camping by the sea and staying in youth hostels. I also love cooking, but I never follow recipes and enjoy improvising, so dinner is never the same twice – which can be a bit annoying if you like the dish!”
Tracey lived in Dubai for many years, and is a yoga teacher who trained in India. “I was also close to becoming a presenter on the Dubai version of Loose Women, but the channel closed before it launched. So I lost out on my childhood dream of becoming famous!”
Tracey is fluent in: “List making, and forgetting where I put the list — or not even going back to the list at any point and making a new one instead!”
