Developer

Graeme joined mySociety as part of the FOI team in October 2017, working on our Alaveteli and AlaveteliPro platforms to help develop features and offer support.

His career as a developer began back in 2006 at Cardiff University Students’ Union, building their websites and inhouse services, including an online voting system for internal elections. Since those early days, he’s racked up time with a digital start-up agency, put in a couple of years’ freelancing, and in between times, backpacked round South America.

In 2005, Graeme moved to Cardiff, where he’s happily settled. Just recently he’s been getting into electronics and 3D printing, adding to the long list of extra-curricular activities he enjoys: spending time with his family, cycling, watching Formula 1, attending gigs and — mySociety colleagues never fail to surprise us — dancing the Argentine tango.

Graeme is fluent in: Ruby, JavaScript and has good experience with Perl and PHP.
