We work with organisations in the public, private, or third sector, and have a wealth of relevant experience in all. Previous clients include the Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Office, the BBC, the Guardian, Channel 4, Google, O2, ITIS Holdings and many other smaller organisations.
When you buy mySociety’s expertise, you benefit from our unique structure and experience, and our history of recruiting top-notch, visionary developers. All projects we work on are open source, which means that you will not be tied into any debilitating ownership agreements, while at the same time you contribute to the world’s codebase.
Proceeds from this commercial arm of our organisation help to fund our non-profit endeavours.

The mySociety developers have a wide and ever-increasing range of skills. Need some help planning your digital strategy? We come at things from a different angle – and that’s often what is needed when you’ve become over-familiar with your own product or service.
Whether it’s your company’s entire digital roadmap, or a one-off project, mySociety will bring transparency, innovation and many years of experience. Sure, there are thousands of consultancy services out there, but we can say with certainty that none of them is quite like us.
For starters, our developers tend to live, sleep and breathe their craft. If we weren’t employing them, often they’d be doing much the same stuff of their own volition. It’s a telling sign when developers go on developing long after the working day has ended (but don’t worry; we promise no coders are harmed in the making of your software).
Then, because we are a not-for-profit organisation, everything we do is underpinned with usability best practice, value for money, and, above all, functionality.
