6. Connect the specific observations made in any official explanatory text about a bill or act to the relevent paragraph.

7. Email alerts basd on categories of bills, votes & amendments, not just keywords.

8. See which paragraphs were voted to be amended by which politicians and which parties.

9. Email alerts when a politician rebels against the majority of their party.

10. See what politicians said about specific paragraphs of bills or acts in debate or committee.

11. See what people who made submissions to bill committees said about specific paragraphs.

12. See which parts of bills and acts were amended, and see all the things that were said and submitted about those specific parts, and who said them.

13. Allow bill paragraphs and groups of paragraphs to be annotated so that their plain English meaning and likely real world impact is clear

    • http://www.parliament.uk/business/bills_and_legislation/pilot.cfm explains the pilot they're doing for this for amendments to the Legal Services bill it would be more useful to have the ability for an NGO say or external expert to comment on an electronic version of an amendment or bill. 'official' explanatory notes only tell part of the story and rarely get the colour.
