Here is the site specification as we would like it to be for launch

1. Clear, simple front end for all interaction driven by postcode entry.

2. Ability to email or fax any of the elected representatives for any citizen in the UK, either directly to their email or fax address, or indirectly via democractic services departments.

3. Robust anti abuse measures, cutting out spam, chain letters and scraping of licenced data.

4. Syndicatability in two kinds. First a fully syndicatable version that can sit on and be branded by other sites who have licenced the data which doesn't belong to us. The second a 'FYR Postcode box' that can sit in the sidebar of any site and which will direct people to FaxYourRepresentative, and which has no licencing issues.

5. Easy updatability when new releases of representative, postcode and boundary data are released.

6. email questionnaire sent two weeks after the communication, asking if people had heard back from their representative.

7. Integration of data from TheyWorkForYou & PublicWhip where appropariate.

8. An encouragement to try YourConstituencyMailingList once people have sent their message.

9. A fully functining /ForwardingSystem

10. Once beta is finished and site is robust, a redirect of FaxYourMP to the new site.
