Write to your local county, borough or district councillor(s) to tell them that you're interested in becoming a parish councillor, to and ask them for details on how to go about it.
3 - Once you have the details,
set up a pledge on PledgeBank saying "I'll become a parish councillor and work for the local community but only if 5 people will support me in doing so".
4 - Publicise the pledge in your area using printable
posters and via postings on
UKVillages.
5 - Once your pledge has been successful, stand for election. Hey presto, you're a parish councillor.
